What's coming up?

Leek Twinning Curry Evening  16 June 2010. A fund raising evening in the form of a meal, at the Qarma Restaurant, Cross St Mill, Leek. Tickets, priced at £12 are available from Bill Johnson on 01538 361175, Maria Borejko on 01538 361191 or from the numbers listed below under contact information.

Eurofest in Este 30 September to 4 October 2010. The theme of this years annual event is 'Combating Poverty'. Leek High School students will be taking part in debates and Leek College of Art will also be attending to participate in the art and photographic exhibition. Veterans Weekend in Este 5 to 8 November 2010. A group of British Legion members, cadets and citizens will be going to Este to take part in the Veterans Commemoration Day services.

What's been happening recently?

Leek Twinning Quiz Night 29 January 2010. We held a very successful and enjoyable fund raising quiz night at the Central Club. Funds raised go towards helping groups of young people with their travel costs when on an official visit to Este.
